The production process of PTFE-lined measuring tanks, plate-lined PTFE recovery tanks, and steel-lined Teflon storage tanks can be divided into the following steps:
1. Form the tank body of the PTFE-lined chemical storage tank according to the drawings;
2. Perform sandblasting and rust removal on the completed tank body;
3. Treat the purchased PTFE plates with sodium treatment to enhance their hydrophilicity and adhesiveness;
4. Apply adhesive: Apply SMH adhesive evenly on both the PTFE plate and the inner wall of the storage tank, ensuring at least three coats. Note that adhesive should not be applied on rainy days due to high humidity, which hinders drying and bonding with the tank;
5. Attach the plates: Heat the PTFE plates before attachment, then use specialized tools to manually press them firmly onto the inner wall of the storage tank;
6. Create a V-groove at the joint of two PTFE plates to facilitate the next step of welding;
7. During welding, first use PFA round strips for welding, level the weld, then use PFA wide strips for further welding;
8. Inspect the entire equipment with a 15kV spark tester; the product is qualified if no intense sparks occur;
9. Polish the exterior of the PTFE storage tank smoothly, then apply two coats of paint, with customizable colors;
10. Finished products are stored in the warehouse, ready for shipment.
